Filaria Igg4 Antibody Test

The Filaria IgG4 Antibody Test detects IgG4 antibodies produced in response to filarial parasites that cause lymphatic filariasis and related infections. This test helps identify exposure or active infection with species such as Wuchereria bancrofti and Brugia malayi. Elevated IgG4 levels indicate an immune reaction, supporting diagnosis in patients with eosinophilia, lymphedema, or tropical parasitic disease.
