Pheochromocytoma Evaluation

The Pheochromocytoma Evaluation (Quest Diagnostics Test 10520) measures total catecholamines and total metanephrines, together with creatinine and metabolite/creatinine ratios to detect hormone-secreting adrenal tumors. It evaluates adrenal gland activity by assessing catecholamine overproduction linked to pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma. Includes specimen prep guidance (avoiding caffeine, tobacco, certain meds) to improve result accuracy.
