Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (TPO)

The Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (TPO) test contains 1 test with 1 biomarker.

Assists in the diagnosis of thyroid diseases such as endemic goiter, Graves Disease, autoimmune thyroiditis, Addison's Disease, insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, Hashimoto's Disease and polyendocrine auto-immunopathies.

TPO Ab can reach very high levels (10,000 or greater), however, our assay is only validated up to 900, so although the analyzer will report a value above 900, the accuracy was not determined (or values became non-linear above 900) so any value greater than 900 is reports as “>900”
