Get Your Blood Drawn By One of Our Healthcare Providers:

  1. Use our online Healthcare Professional Locator to search our network and find a nurse advocate, phlebotomist or other healthcare provider in your community.
  2. Schedule an appointment with one of our licensed nurse advocates, phlebotomists or healthcare providers and have your blood drawn.
  3. If your test or wellness package requires fasting, then fast for 12 hours prior to your draw (special instructions will be noted on your lab requisition order).

Review Your Results Online

  1. Within a few business days, you will receive an email notification when your results are available (occasionally, complex tests may take between 7-10 business days for results).
  2. Your results will be uploaded into your private and secure healthcare dashboard.
  3. Log in and view intuitive charts that display your data, along with detailed explanations of each biomarker to give you a clear understanding of your results.
  4. Easy to read copies of your test results are also available to share with your physician or other healthcare provider.

No. You do not need to see a physician to get a lab test, through Ulta Lab Tests. Ulta Lab Tests allows you direct access to lab tests through our healthcare professional network, using the same labs as healthcare providers and hospitals, which are CLIA certified and regulated by government agencies. Ulta Lab Tests allows you to save time and money and you get the same lab results that you can share with your doctor or healthcare provider.

We do not bill insurance directly. However, you can submit for reimbursement yourself. If all your insurance company needs are the "CPT Codes", then we can supply you with those codes. Simply indicate by checking the CPT Code request box when you order your tests. (Note: When insurance is used, any abnormal results are reported to your insurance company and therefore become part of your medical records. They do not get reported if you do not attempt to get reimbursed.)

No. Ulta Lab Tests has negotiated discounted cash prices with the national laboratories; therefore, direct access lab testing cannot be submitted to Medicare or Medicaid. Medicare often covers lab-testing services; however, if Medicare declares that a lab test is not "medically necessary" or that it exceeds an annual limit (is being taken too often), you may order your medical lab tests from Ulta Lab Tests. You will have to pay for your lab work in advance, and Medicare will not reimburse you for the testing; however, by having Ulta Lab Tests perform the testing, seniors will save valuable dollars from their fixed incomes.

The result is superior customer service while providing our patients quick, accurate and secure test results that keep our costs low so that we can pass along those savings to you.

We affiliate with healthcare providers nationally to extend our national pricing and platform into their practices so that their patients can benefit with the cost savings of our program.

Unlike a physician that purchases lab tests for their practice's patients, we purchase on extremely high testing volumes for patients across the United States. We are able to get national high volume pricing with our national lab partners. Additionally, we have negotiated prompt payment with the National laboratories and remove all excess costs and instances where uncollectible or delay in payments could occur that inflate the patient's price for lab tests. Securing advance payment from our customers enables our company to secure exceptional costs from the national laboratories with prompt and efficient payment that we pass directly on to our customers.

All specimens are analyzed at National CLIA certified laboratories.

Direct to consumer lab testing online and or in conjunction with our healthcare partners where Ulta Lab Tests provides the state Medical Director, are restricted in New York, New Jersey and Rhode Island. The laws in these states require that the patient's personal physician order any lab work; a copy of this order must be presented at the laboratory.

If your state does not permit laboratory testing without a personal physician's order, you are welcome to get tested in adjoining states. Your professional test results will still be valid and should be accepted by any healthcare provider.

Lab results, including the Ulta Wellness Panels are available 2-3 business days after a blood draw has been completed. Members will be notified via email once their results are available. (Occasionally, complex test results can take between 7-10 business days.)

Abnormalities should be considered an early warning, but do not necessarily mean you have an illness or disease. We strongly recommend you discuss the results with your healthcare provider for evaluation, further testing and diagnosis.

Our Medical support team at Ulta Lab Tests will reach out to you to communicate lab tests that are identified as either a critical or panic level as well as test results that are positive for HIV or STD's.

Most of the individual lab tests require no preparation. Many of our Health and Wellness Panels do require fasting. If there are special requirements prior to testing, such as fasting for up to 12 hours, it will be noted in the individual test or panel descriptions and on your Ulta Lab Tests Requisition Form.

No. It is common to order multiple lab tests off of one blood draw where there is just one needle stick.

Yes. You should always take medicine that has been prescribed by a physician.

As you select and order your lab tests with your Healthcare Professional, they will be prompted to collect your payment information. The information is entered online through an encrypted transmission secured by Authorize.netâ„¢ for your protection. Neither your healthcare or payment information is stored on any of our healthcare providers hardware.

Ulta Lab Tests accepts all major credit and debit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover and most Health Savings Account (HSA) debit cards, or medical or healthcare debit card from your insurance carrier.

No, at this time we only accept credit or debit cards.

Yes. Our online credit card transactions performed on our website are fully encrypted and secured by Authorize.netâ„¢ for your protection. Once your order has been processed, the only information we retain about your credit card is the last four (4) digits of the card's number for later reference purposes.

Whether you purchased your lab tests online, or if your lab test was processed on our platform with your community healthcare provider, the charge on your credit card statement for your lab test will appear with the name of our company, Ulta Lab Tests.

After an order has been processed, you may cancel prior to the blood draw with a refund equal to the price of the test less a $10 cancellation fee, if cancelled within three (3) months from date of order. There is no cancellation refund after three months.
